There's a Facebook site "Crap Bird Photography", which can be entertaining but for me it became a bit same-y and eventually tedious. However, it was the inspiration for this page, which I hope will eventually be empty, with better shots placed in the main gallery.

... Enough said.

Common Hawker, male
... Fewer and fewer of these about in the Forest, so maybe I will never get one better.

Southern Migrant Hawker, female
... I was delighted to see this female ovipositing in a hoof print, which apparently is usual for them. I suppose the strategy is for the nearby stream to flood before next season and allow the hatched larvae to reach water. I did get some good close-up shots to prove the ID but nothing of aesthetic value.
